Terms & Conditions
The rules for the free daily practice, complete Speaking tests, purchases and use of Aprubo.
Effective 30 September 2026 · Aprubo S.L.
Service and operator
Aprubo is an online CELPIP Speaking practice service operated by Aprubo S.L., Calle Garganta de los Montes 22, 28045 Madrid, Spain, contact [email protected]. By signing up, buying or using Aprubo you accept these terms.
Aprubo is independent from CELPIP and Paragon Testing Enterprises. It is not an official test centre and does not issue official scores. CELPIP is a trademark of Paragon Testing Enterprises.
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for purchases made through its checkout, and its buyer terms also apply to the transaction. Aprubo remains your contact for everything about the practice, your access and your feedback.
Who can use it and your access
You must be at least 16 years old to use Aprubo. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or legal guardian to make a purchase.
There is no password: your email and the private links we send you are your access. Use an email you control and keep those links private. Use the same email for later purchases so they stay together with your history. If you lose access to your email or need to move purchases to another address, write to us; we may ask you to confirm the change.
What you buy is for your personal use and cannot be shared with or transferred to another person.
Free daily practice
The free Speaking has the eight CELPIP Speaking tasks, released one per day: the first when you sign up and a new one each morning (8:00 in your time zone), with an email when a new task is ready. Each task gets its own feedback and, when the answer can be evaluated, an estimated level. There is one free Speaking per person.
Daily tasks are separate practice records, not a continuous simulation. If you buy any complete test, your free Speaking opens in full at once, and it also gets an overall estimate once all eight tasks are answered.
A task’s question and image stay hidden until you start its timed preparation. Opening the email or the task page does not start the timer.
What a paid test includes
A complete test is eight Speaking tasks answered in order, with feedback on each response and one overall Speaking analysis once all eight are done. The overall analysis looks at the eight responses together; it is not a simple average of the task levels. A complete test covers Speaking only, not Listening, Reading or Writing.
Each task is answered once, and the first answer is the one that counts. After a paid task has been scored you can record it again to hear yourself improve, but those extra takes are not scored.
Some responses may be too short, silent or unclear to evaluate. In that case we tell you which one, instead of inventing a score.
Test conditions and pauses
Allow about 25 quiet minutes: the eight tasks take roughly 15 minutes with their preparation and speaking times, plus setup. Each question appears when its preparation starts, and tasks advance on their own.
You can pause a test and come back later: answered tasks are saved and you continue with the ones left, without paying again. An answer interrupted by the pause is discarded. A test finished with a pause still gets its feedback and overall estimate, labelled “Completed with breaks”.
For a meaningful result, answer on your own, without scripts, translators, another person or answer-writing tools. We do not monitor you, and your estimate only reflects what you actually recorded.
Questions and repeat purchases
Paid tests use questions you have not seen before, across all purchases made with the same email. Tasks 3 and 4 intentionally share the same picture within a test, because they ask different things about it.
Our question bank is finite. Before you pay, the site only offers the packs we can fill with new questions for you; if there are not enough, the pack is shown as unavailable instead of repeating questions.
Prices and one-time payments
The current packs are US$4.99 for one test, US$10.99 for three tests and US$15.99 for five tests. Each complete test is eight tasks. Prices are in US dollars; taxes and the total in your currency are shown at checkout before you pay.
Every purchase is a one-time payment: no subscription and no automatic renewal. Buying again with the same email adds to what you have left.
Your purchase is available as soon as Paddle confirms the payment, and it does not expire. A task is used when you reveal its question.
Refunds and technical problems
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for your purchase. To request a refund, contact Paddle through your receipt email or at paddle.net; you can also write to us and we will help. Paddle makes the final decision, and consumer law may give you minimum rights (for example, 14 days in the EU/EEA, Switzerland and the UK, and 7 days in Canada).
Our policy: within 7 days of purchase (or longer where the law of your country gives you more), unused tasks are refunded in proportion to the pack (price × unused tasks ÷ tasks in that purchase; for example, 3 complete tests for US$10.99 with 8 of 24 tasks used → US$7.33). Used tasks are not refundable. If a task fails on our side (our evaluation fails after several tries, or we cannot transcribe your recording because of a problem on our side), it is returned to you automatically, or we refund it; a recording with no speech in it is not a failure on our side. Duplicate purchases are refunded in full.
After a partial refund you keep the results you already received; after a full refund or a chargeback, access to that purchase ends.
Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights that the law of your country does not allow to be waived.
What estimates can and cannot tell you
Scores and feedback are AI-assisted practice estimates. They can be affected by transcription quality, your microphone, answer length, the model and how you performed that day. An estimate is not an official CELPIP result, a certification or a guarantee of any score.
Do not use a practice estimate as the only basis for an immigration, study, work or other important decision. If a result or a transcript looks wrong, write to us with the task link; we will review it, although a review does not guarantee a different level.
Your recordings and our materials
Your recordings are yours. You allow us to process them only to transcribe, evaluate and show them back to you, as described in the Privacy Notice. We do not use them for advertising or to train AI models.
Our questions, images, interface and reports belong to Aprubo and are licensed to you for your personal practice. Do not copy or distribute the questions, try to extract the question bank, or present a practice report as an official exam document.
Fair use and availability
Do not try to access another person’s records, interfere with the service, abuse payments or collect content automatically. We may limit or suspend access in case of abuse, in proportion to what happened and without affecting what you paid for in good faith.
We work to keep Aprubo available, but maintenance, provider failures or connection problems can interrupt it. If a problem on our side stops you from using what you bought, write to us and we will fix it, return the affected tasks or refund them.
Privacy, changes, law and contact
How we use your information is explained in the Privacy Notice. Agreeing to daily practice emails is separate from these terms, and you can stop them at any time.
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Changes do not reduce what you already bought, and new prices only apply to future purchases.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
Questions or problems: [email protected]. Include the task or order link so we can find it quickly.
